This is the beginning of what I expect to be an exciting collaborative project. The outcome will be a blog for my family and our loved friends – a creative outlet for food matters, family lore, and other artistic expression. I consider this site to be a trial balloon that will ultimately result in our ultimate site – Sausage Soup (sausagesoup.net). For now, I’m learning about blogging and about blogging options.

OOPS! I just looked up the definition of penultimate and found that it’s “second to last.” I thought that it was just a superlative ultimate! Damn. I’ll correct the posting. I was hoping for “fabulous picture,” or “Yea! We’re off to a good start.”
